Settlement between Riza Quli Khan and his mother, 1893
The second wife of Mirza Fazl Allah Khan [Agha Baygum Khanum] transfers the ownership of all her belongings (including whatever she owns until her death) to her son, Riza Quli Khan, in exchange for one hundred dinars. The condition is that Riza Quli Khan will be responsible for the food and clothing expenses of his mother as long as she lives. Moreover, after her death, he shall spend fifty tumans of his own money for the funeral expenses. A male slave, named Qanbar, and a female slave, named Tuti, are included in this settlement. Settlement of Karbalayi Husayn, son of the late Rahmat Allah Bayg, over parts of his properties worth fifty tumans with his daughter, Batul Khanum, for some nabat (crystal candy); settlement of Karbalayi Husayn with his sons, Jamshid Bayg and Muhammad Rahim, over the rest of his properties for one thousand dinars and some nabat, under the condition that they spend fifty tumans for his funeral and fifty tumans for Batul's dowry.

Hajiyah Zivar Sultan (daughter of the late Haji Muhammad Hasan and former wife of the late Haji Muhammad ‘Alaqah-band [the silk dealer] from Shiraz) confirms that she settled her possessions with her inheritors for one tuman and some crystal sugar, with the condition that her possessions would belong to her while she is alive, and after her death, her inheritors should pay seven hundred and fifty tumans for her funeral costs and for charity as she desires.

Draft by Mashhadi Lutf‘ali and Mashhadi Ghulam ‘Ali, sons of the late Mashhadi Ghulam Riza, confirming their shares of their father's inheritance; additionally, Mashhadi Lutf‘ali confirms that his permanent wife, Khanum Safi, is the executor of his will and the guardian of his underage children, and if he dies before pilgrimages to Mecca and the shrines in Iraq, his wife, with his brother's supervision, should take his body to burry in Vadi al-Salam in Najaf.
